The Clinton administration talked about firm evidence linking Saddam Hussein’s regime to Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda network years before President Bush made the same statements.
Of course all the liberals HATE Bush because he said there were ties, and they couldn’t PROVE any ties existed between Saddam and 9/11 (big difference right?) So why aren’t the liberals hating on Clinton for saying the same thing? Why isn’t Gore making a moron out of himself about Clinton saying these things?
In fact, during President Clinton’s eight years in office, there were at least two official pronouncements of an alarming alliance between Baghdad and al Qaeda.
So now the councel is getting somewhere. Good job guys!
Mr. Bush cited the linkage, in part, to justify invading Iraq and ousting Saddam. He said he could not take the risk of Iraq’s weapons falling into bin Laden’s hands.
Here Bush is 100% correct; However, with a Republican President my liberal friends have to see the lives wasted before we invade. If we had a democrat as President it would be a whole different story with the liberals. Why were the liberals not up in arms during Milosevic�s Kosovo to protect the muslims from a slaughter beign waged against them, Bosnia, Haiti and Somalia? Why didn’t Michael Moore create movies about those? Liberals hate this war, because it is Bush in office, had it been anyone else, they wouldn’t care about it. The ideal that this war is about oil and imperialism would have never come up. Thats pretty shallow eh?
The indictment disclosed a close relationship between al Qaeda and Saddam’s regime, which included specialists on chemical weapons and all types of bombs, including truck bombs, a favorite weapon of terrorists.
For liberals NOT GOOD ENOUGH (with a republican president), again, the lives MUST be wasted first before they will allow the protecting of our homeland.
