Good point Ryan!

June 11th, 2004 by mjg

You know, I was talking to my friend Ryan today at lunch, he brought up a very good point, and I thought I would share that here.

He was telling me about hearing a radio show or reading an article that played the what if game. This what if game was about 9/11, here is how it went:

What if the United States of American invaded Afghanistan September 9th, (before the WTC attacks) what would be the liberal public opinion? You got it; they would be up in arms (much like they are now with Iraq). They would spout about how Afghanistan has done nothing to the United States, and would call for the resignation of all the top people, including President Bush.

Interesting, sounds like the current war with Iraq doesnt it?

Continuing the What if Game, because President Bush invaded Afghanistan September 9th. The WTC attacks never occur, saving a lot of American lives. This would mean nothing to the liberals, because they refuse to believe that anything could possibly happen to the United States and would continue to complain about how the war in Afghanistan is about Oil and imperialism.

However, this didnt happen, so what do liberals do instead; they start an inquiry about the attacks on 9/11. Making outrageous claims that President Bush knew of the attacks before hand, and that we could have stopped this before it happen (this is where the first part of the what if game comes into play).

Moral of the story is that President Bush could be saving thousands of American lives. We have no idea, but to you liberals you could care less if he saves lives, you have to see the lives wasted first before taking action.

Liberals only care about Iraq because it is George W. Bush, and not some worthless democrat. Had it been a worthless democrat conducting this war in Iraq, they would be in full support. Just how they were in full support for Clintons conflicts

Chris from American Liberty Journal is right on when he made this statement on another site When the shoe is on the other foot you are so quick to take it off.
