Responsibility in Arabia

Novgorod the Great, Russian Federation—The CNN.com headline reads “the status of an American being held hostage in Saudi Arabia was described as “grim” by a U.S. lawmaker who met with a Saudi official Wednesday.”

Here’s my question. Why the hell are we still pretending to be friendly with this theocratic regime. It has been obvious for many that the Saudi Royals have been placating the west and fundamentalist Wahabbis in their kingdom. It is, therefore, no surprise that these things will happen in the country. For too long the Saudis have condoned islamic terrrorism in order to not have the fundamentalists challenge their domestic authority.

Now is the time to get out of the kingdom and to drastically change our policy with the regime.
